To forgive ourselves and others can be one of the most difficult things to do, but it is the first step towards healing. Forgive those who have hurt you. Forgive yourself for how you may have hurt others. Forgive even that which seems unforgivable--and that doesn't mean to forego justice--but to forgive on a personal, spiritual level, even those who have committed punishable crimes against us. Only when we let loose our hold onto the grudges and anger which keep us in darkness, can we truly feel at peace and find the light.
